Dealing With A Break Up

How to Deal With My Break Up – I Want My Heart to Heal!
“How to Deal With My Breakup?” Is this the question you keep asking yourself over and over again? Your heart has been broken and you are so depressed. Well, pay attention, here’s where you start on how to deal with a break up.
The first thing you have to do is mourn the loss of your relationship. A break up is a very devastating thing to go through, you actually have to mourn the death of your relationship. It is not going to be easy, it hurts like hell, but you have to deal with it if you want to survive a breakup.
The next thing that will help you is to put in writing how you feel. Make it like a letter to your ex boyfriend, telling him how he hurt you, how he made you feel, write down everything that you are feeling. Once you have actually released these feelings into words, your broken heart will have a chance to start healing.
Another thing that will really help you get through this relationship breakup is to be with your friends. Talk to them about what happened, but don’t make it the only topic of conversation when you are with your friends. If all your friends hear from you is talk about how your ex boyfriend dumped you, it will get old. They won’t be as available when you call because they can’t keep listening to the same things over and over.
Go out and have some fun with your friends and make sure you ask them questions about what is going on in their lives. As in all relationships, there has to be give and take on both sides.
Do you still have some of your ex boyfriends stuff? Does he still have some of your things? If so, call him up and set a time and place to meet so that you can exchange your stuff. The last thing you want is to have his things sitting around your place as a constant reminder of the loss of your relationship.
Another thing in how to deal with a break up is to not communicate with him for a while. No phone calls, no text messaging, no emails, no driving by his place, nothing. You need some time completely away from him in order to help you move on.
Finally, and I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but go out on a date with someone. It’s not a long term commitment, it is just a date. Maybe dinner and a movie. You will be amazed how much better you will feel after you have gone out a few times.
You will get through this and your heart will mend. Just follow these steps, and that’s how to deal with my break up.
